The Department of Accounting is designed to provide students with broad-based knowledge of business and an in-depth specialization in accounting. It prepares students for careers in auditing, corporate accounting, taxation, management consulting, governments and not-for-profit organizations. The undergraduate accounting curriculum also provides an excellent background for the student who wants to pursue advanced graduate studies in business, finance, and, even, law. Graduates from our programs hold leadership positions in the accounting profession, academia, government and the business community.
